Let's Play Catch-Up!

Oh, there you are!

Yeah, I know it's been awhile.  Don't blame me, I can't type.  But, Instead of pointing fingers (you know who you are), let's get on with it, shall we.
A Great visit with Great Grandma Morgan

Quick catch up!

I am currently 9 months old, got my first two teeth at 8 months, started crawling forward at 8.5 months (and haven't stopped moving). I say dadada, kitty, keys, but refuse to say mama unless I am really upset.  Last Thursday, after going to school for the first time, I taught a bunch of Daddy's friends in a bar how to clap and say "Yay".  Let's just say we were all very entertaining.  Oh, and today(drum roll please), I ate my first pancake!!!

Okay.  Pretty good.  I guess we are all caught up...oh,  and I also met Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, but I can't say I completely trust them... yet.

Here are some pictures I'd like to share.  Hope everyone has a Happy Easter...I really don't know what that is, but my mom said I should add that in.

NeeNee and Me at the Zoo.  She got us a Membership.
If you ask me, this seems kind of strange.

Grandma's, Freckles & Boobies; Oh, My!

Grammy's doing much better.
Wow! A lot has happened in the last three weeks! First, we decided to drive up on a Friday night to see my Great Grandma (or Grammy as we like to call her) in Sonora. She wasn't feeling too well and thought we should go so I could cheer her up.
Sorry, Aunt Heidi. I just want to eat.

Camo is Cool!
We stayed at my Grandma Jill's  house while we were up there.  I love my Grandma Jill. She makes me laugh and shows me the vegetables and flowers in her garden.
The next day we all drove up to Grammy's, but first we had to stop at this little house by the road that sold fruit and garden statues.  Grandma Jill took pictures and bought some peaches so that she could make us her award-winning peach pie. My Mom and Dad said it tasted really good, then ate the whole pie!  They didn't even save me a piece.   Where are your teeth when you need them?
Grandma Jill, Grammy, Dad & Me
We were the first to arrive at Grammy's.  But soon came Cousin Jeremy and his family.  They were all dressed in Camo because they were hunting squirrels.
Next, Aunt Heidi and Uncle Rick arrived. Uncle Rick likes birds and Aunt Heidi tried to hold me, but I really wasn't interested.
It was fun meeting my family, and I think I really cheered up my Grammy, but by the end, I was very tired.
The next day we all went to Mom and Dad's favorite store with Grandma, Auntie Sarah and Cousin Shanna.  It's called the Grocery Outlet.  I don't see what the big deal was, the place smelled like onions and motor oil.
I hope you like the pictures. My family is pretty great and I can't wait to visit them again.

The next weekend wasn't as fun. Apparently Mom had to go back to work for money.  Mom cried when she left, but, on the first day, I had a great time hanging out with Dad.  We rolled cigars and drank out of a bottle, which is pretty cool because the milk comes out really fast. But by the next day, I was really missing Mom and boobie, but mostly boobie. Dad was good at distracting me, you know, making faces and playing music. And before I knew it, everything was back to normal...until the next weekend...

Can't wait 'til I can go surfing!
Hmm, all this noise seems strangely familiar.
And at last, I did something my Dad has been waiting for me to do since I've been born...I finally went to the beach!!!

I loved the sound of the waves and watching the interesting people jump in the water with all their clothes on. My Dad calls them tourists.
I saw seagulls and pelicans, put my feet in the sand, and even with all the cover-ups Mom and Dad were using to shade me from the sun, I still came out of it with my first freckle!
Sure would like to put my hands in that.
My Dad says we'll come back soon. I'm just counting the days( well, I would if I knew how to count).

What do you mean I can't go in the water?!! I'm Hot!

My First Trip to Disneyland!

Dad and Me in Disneyland after lunch
Me at Disney's California Adventure
Last Sunday, for my 10 week birthday, my Mom and Dad took me to Disneyland and California Park for the very first time. It was fun because on the drive down Auntie Dayna and Uncle Bill kept me company in the backseat and made funny mouth noises the WHOLE WAY DOWN.  They are super funny.  My Mom says that someday I'm going to be taller than them.

Disneyland was Fantastic! Mom and I had fun in the nursing stations while Dad, Auntie Dayna & Uncle Bill ran around drinking beer and riding rides. I'd have to say that some of the people there are very strange. One time in front of the nursing station, a strange man with a big nose, tall hat and a funny voice came over to me with a girl who had long yellow hair, a blue dress and also a funny voice. He was making lots of noise...saying tea this and mad that..., so I grabbed his finger. Mom said she wished she had video of that, but i dont know why. He was kind of annoying.

Wow!  What a great lunch!
In one of the stores a lady gave me a button that says Happy Birthday Jack. I'll take a picture of it and show it to you later. Oh, and in another store we went in, Mom walked out of the store with a toy around her wrist. We were far away from the store when Dad said "Hey!  You forgot to pay for that!"  We had to walk all the way back to the store so Mom could pay for it.  So funny!

Overall it was a pretty great day.  I will be going back soon I'm sure.  I didn't ride any rides this time but next time I think I may try out some rides in the Bugs Life area.  I hear that is a good place to start.

I will talk to you soon!  Thanks for reading!

Zombie's Eat Brains!!!!!!

Come on, let me eat your brains.  Pretty please.
Zombie Family Vacation
When  I turned 9 weeks old I went to my first Zombie party. Mom made matching t-shirts for us that said "Brains"  with blood (ok, it was only red paint) while Dad and I did man stuff in the garage. We were a Zombie family on vacation. As you can see from my beanie, I liked to eat the brains of Chico State Students.  Dad says they are the perfect baby zombie food, small and mushy.

Giddy-up Roxy!
The party was for Sage's 22nd birthday at Aunt Patty and Uncle Matty's next door.  It was cool because we didn't have to get into the car and I got to play with Roxy the dog.  Mom said I wasn't old enough to play beer pong...maybe next year...
I listened to music, danced, met a lot of new friends and watched Dad eat a Louisiana hot sausage wrapped in bacon.
Aunt Patty and Uncle Matty are funny Zombies
Overall it was a great first Zombie Party.

First Post

Well this is it.  My first post.  I am about 9 weeks old today, so sorry for the late start.  Things are good these days I am sleeping more at night and playing more during the day.  I have recently discovered how amazing my hands are!  Don't you think hands are amazing?

Oh ya,  the other day, my dad was so tired from playing with me all night that he put on two different shoes that didn't match each-other and didn't realize it until he got to work.  My dad is hilarious!

Talk to you soon!
